What is Kabbalah Maasit?
It is about human beings putting into practice the spiritual energy that the Creator of the Universe has brought into existence.
We encounter terms such as:
- Maase Bereshit.
- Maase Merkava.
These mean: The Work of Creation and The Work of the Chariot, respectively.
These two processes indicate the work carried out by the Creator to bring into existence a system through which His creatures can develop.
Maase Bereshit establishes the spiritual and physical foundations, while Maase Merkava sets the laws by which the spiritual and physical realms operate. Through Maase Merkava, human beings delve into the spiritual, utilizing the laws already established by the Creator.
Therefore, we could also speak of maase kabbalah, that is: the work of receiving. Only the Creator can accomplish this. In other words, only He can create the system (or conditions) through which His creatures receive from Him. And of course, to create such a mechanism, which involves infinite processes that neither the human mind nor the angelic mind could comprehend, it is evident that only the Blessed Creator is capable of this.
However, human beings can carry out Kabbalah Maasit, which is a creative process (i.e., putting into practice) based on the system or mechanism (with its laws) already created.
Only G-d, the Creator, can create something from nothing. Human beings, on the other hand, create from what has already been created. This is the act that sets in motion Superior Forces: created through Maase Bereshit, activated by Maase Merkava, or by the human act called Kabbalah Maasit.
It is also worth mentioning that Kabbalah Maasit is not the only practice that activates or sets in motion Superior Forces. There is another method for this, which is called: Purity, that is, Kedushá, as well as deep study of the pure Wisdom of the Creator, meaning: knowing the 32 Paths of Wisdom.
